Meet Cross Flow Corey….

Corey Morris has worked in the wine industry for more than 20 years. A native of Yamhill County and a perpetually proud Oregonian, he began his career in 1994 before he was even of drinking age—falling in love with the work, the wine, and the industry as a harvest worker at Sokol Blosser Winery in Dundee, Oregon. In the years to follow, he expanded his experience by working abroad in Australia and New Zealand.

One of Corey's strengths is that he has held numerous wine production jobs, including lead production positions at two of Oregon's premier custom crush facilities. His responsibilities included implementation of efficient production protocols, as well as the managing and facilitating of these companies during a period of explosive growth for both. The diversity of knowledge and experience gained in the first 14 years of Corey's career, perfectly groomed him to create his own company, Willamette Cross Flow. Through his extensive education and involvement with wine-making, Corey identified a need in the industry for mobile filtration services. His start-up assets were one truck, one trailer, and one cross flow filtration machine.

Since its inception in 2008, Corey has single-handedly grown the company to its current flourishing status & become the industry leader for premium mobile wine filtration.

With Willamette Cross Flow continuing to thrive, Corey began research and development in 2013 for a new crossflow filtration machine--one that would provide his company with the ability to filter more wine and thereby increase its growth. Early in 2015, the first custom modular filtration machine was completed and is now being used on the front lines of Willamette Cross Flow.

The average client's yield is between 100cs and 50,000cs. This custom modular filtration machine is configured for gentle operating pressures and versatility, and is used in combination with domestically-produced Koch membranes, known for their gentle filtration of wine. In addition, the modular design allows for multiple applications and its compact size makes it easy to transport.
